Peat barreled Big gin
Captive Spirits flagship Big Gin rests for four months in Westland Distillery’s Peated American Single Malt barrels to create an aged gin with notes of bitter orange, warm spices, earthy greens, and a hint of resinous wood.
Previous to the peated whiskey, the barrels held Wild Turkey, making Peat Barreled BIG GIN the third use of the oak.
TASTING NOTES: Vegetal, swiss chard, earthy greens followed by a touch of resinous wood & preserved lemon on the nose. Bitter orange & warm spices envelope the mouth feel. Embodiments of the great outdoors finishes the palate.
